At Schaefer Crane Service, we are a fully licensed and insured company, for your protection and peace of mind.
All crane operators are National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certified, and our riggers have Rigger Certification.
All of our cranes are routinely inspected and certified for safety during operation.
We are available 24/7 to provide you with complete crane services. We have cranes from 40 to 350 tons available

From its humble beginnings as the Well Co., which later evolved into Schaefer Crane Service, the company quickly established itself on the principles of unwavering customer service, a commitment to safety, and the relentless pursuit of a job well done. This family-owned and operated business has since blossomed into a multi-faceted organization, encompassing Schaefer Well Co., Schaefer Crane Service, and most recently, Schaefer Contracting.

Schaefer Crane Service operates a fleet of 40 to 350-ton cranes, with NCCCO certified operators and riggers holding Rigger Certification, ensuring safe and reliable lifting solutions.
In 2021, Ryan Bauer and Derek MacHolda launched Schaefer Contracting, expanding the company's expertise to include millwright and general contracting services for industrial and commercial clients ranging from repairs to design-build new construction.
